ABOUT THE COMPANY
The principal of GEE is Mike Mason, an experienced professional who has worked for over 30 years with some of the world’s leading energy companies including BP, BG and Tullow Oil. Mike has developed strong strategic and tactical skills which have been successfully employed in high risk, high profile projects and operations world-wide.
Mike has worked in some of the world’s most sensitive areas including over 20 different countries and cultures spanning North and South America, the Caribbean, UK, Europe, the Caucasus, the Middle East, East and West Africa and Australasia.
Mike’s key strengths are:
- Early identification of project non-technical risks
- Identification of opportunities for continuous risk reduction through transfer of knowledge and implementation
- Sensitive interventions where a better strategic environmental outcome is possible, but not yet recognised
- Provision of environmental intelligence briefings to leadership teams and environmental practitioners to promote and support project environmental goals
- Providing practitioner mentorship and development of individuals and/or groups
